Characteristics of Selfishness: <ul> <li class="li9">Seeing ourselves as more capable than we really are.</li> <li class="li9">Having a ‘god’ complex. Retaining veto power over our lives.</li> <li class="li9">Thinking that we know better than God.</li> </ul> Fruits of the Flesh “Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality,idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” - Gal. 5:19-21 Key Principle #1:  We don’t even have to try to live contrary to God, it happens naturally. Every day we must make the decision not to. How do we Win Over the Flesh? <ol class="ol1"> <li class="li13">Every morning, ask God to _________________ your _______________.       (See Gal. 2:20; Psalms 143:8)</li> <li class="li13">Determine to do nothing that goes contrary to ________________   ________________.
